Denise and Robert had a multi-location engagement session starting in Old Town Orange and ending in Laguna Beach.  They had 3 requests for me:  Get photos with the Porsche, photos in an urban setting and photos on the beach.  I personally love sports cars so this was a treat for me.  However I’ve never done an engagement shoot centered around a car before, so a little extra preparation was necessary.  I had to scope out a location with a backdrop large enough and with a color that complimented the Porsche’s bright red paint job.  I’m so happy with how the whole engagement shoot turned out!  It was a blast!

Denise and Robert’s wedding is going to be held at Hotel Laguna in Laguna Beach next year.

This is my first humble attempt at applying a texture to an image.  The use of textures has become pretty popular over the last few years and I’ve been wanting to try it for awhile now but just never got around to it.    In this image I merged a photo of some cracked mud that I took during my last engagement shoot (Jenise and Aaron in Silverado Canyon), with a photo of Tina from my last post.  I’m not sure how I feel about it yet.  It’s very different from my typical style.

Tina contacted me recently to have her portraits done.  She’s an aspiring actress with a lot of energy and personality, which made this shoot a ton of fun!  Here are just a few of the many shots taken that day.
