Today I had a great time getting to know Dane Sanders, wedding photographer and author of the book, Fast Track Photographer. Dane is a huge inspiration to a lot of photographers including myself. Here’s his story.

Aaron, I don’t remember how I found your site but am so glad I did. I also follow you on Twitter. I just wanted to say that I’m really grateful to you for the fact that you started this series of video interviews with well-known, respected photographers because to someone who is just starting out in the industry, its SO incredibly helpful and useful to listen and learn from you and from the people you’re interviewing. I really connect with Dane Sanders – because here I am in my mid 30′s and just getting started in the industry. Feeling that I’m late to the game, its such a tremendous help on so many levels to be able to connect with other photographers, even if its only through learning from them from a video. To sum up, thank you for what you do for the photographic community and thank you for sharing your wonderful talents as an amazing photographer as well.

Hi Aaron! Thank you so much for these videos! I clicked on your name from Jasmine Star’s website and I love what I found! I am just starting out in photography and it’s so awesome to be able to watch you interview these awesome photographers and realize that they had the same insecurities as I do when first starting out.
