My dad, Ben Dieppa, has always been a huge source of inspiration to me. His passion for photography has totally influenced me over the years. Photography has been a great way for us to hang out and connect. Every now and then we’ll go out for a few hours and shoot stuff. It doesn’t really matter what we’re shooting because it’s just time for us to temporarily escape from our responsibilities, talk photography and relax. Today we did just that. We drove out to San Pedro and stumbled upon the Korean Friendship Bell. Neither of us had ever been there before. It’s this massive bell that was given as a gift to the U.S. from Korea in 1976. The bell is housed in a gazebo-type korean styled architectural piece with really detailed, ornate designs. It was really cool. Check out the video and some of our photos.
