Candace and Dominic wanted to have part of their engagement photography done at the Balboa Fun Zone, because that’s where Dominic proposed. It was a lot of fun just walking around the Balboa Fun Zone and capturing photos along the way. Balboa definitely has that really romantic “first date” feel to it with lots of activities like a ferris wheel, merry-go-round, boardwalk, and even an arcade. We made sure to get photos in all of the spots including the exact spot where they were first engaged!
Before we went to the Balboa Fun Zone, we stopped by a place called The Lab in Costa Mesa for some photos too. It’s basically a really small outdoor mall, with a few little shops and a super cool coffee shop called the Gypsy Den. What makes The Lab so appealing for photography is the varied textures and colors used throughout the outdoor area of the mall. It has a really unique look to it that makes for great photography.
The photos turned out amazing and I’m really looking forward to Candace and Dominic’s wedding.
