I never had a sister when I was a kid. I had two younger brothers. And I always wondered what it would be like to have a sister. And then Lisa and Laura came into my life and suddenly I had two sisters. It was funny, because I found myself acting really protective over them. I had to screen the boys that they dated etc. And like the movie Gladiator I would raise my fist and point my thumb down if I didn’t approve. I’m kidding…![]()
But now Lisa is all grown up and getting married and I am so happy for her and Mark. They are so in love. It seems like it was just yesterday that they met, and now I’m going to be photographing their wedding. Time goes by so fast…
Here are some photos from their engagement shoot in Irvine Park. It was seriously a perfect day. Not too cold, not too hot and the sunlight filtering through the trees was beautiful. It had just rained not that long before so everything was a deep shade of green, accented with the colors of the yellow flowers in bloom.
They wanted to have a picnic for their engagement photos. And I was so excited because I found the most incredible tree for them to have their picnic under. It had long branches covered in yellow flowers that reached down towards the green grass below forming a perfect canopy. And when the sunlight shined through it, it looked absolutely amazing!
