Today was SO much fun! Here’s a preview of Megan and Yaojen’s Engagement Session. It was a truly unique experience because they wanted photos of their brand new Audi R8!! Cool huh!?

My fiancee, Barbara is not only super beautiful, inteligent and fun, she’s also a really talented flamenco dancer!! 

Last week I set up our in-home studio to do a photoshoot of her dancing in her new flamenco dress and it was so much fun!

She has been doing Flamenco dancing for years now, and this last year had the honor of taking private lessons from Yolanda Arroyo.  Yolanda is a world famous Flamenco dancer from Barcelona, Spain.  Her and her husband Paco now live in Glendale and perform regularly.  Paco plays the guitar while she dances.

So this past weekend was Barbara’s first on-stage performance under Yolanda’s teaching.  She performed at a theater in Santa Monica to Paco’s guitar and Yolanda’s singing and she did such an amazing job.  I am so proud of her and wanted to share it with you all.

Oh and Barb and I are super excited because Yolanda and Paco will be performing at our wedding!!  Cool huh!?!

I was recently featured on Camera Dojo’s podcast with Kerry Garrison and David Esquire. It was an absolute honor to be on their show. Camera Dojo is a huge inspiration for me. They’ve been known to have some really big names on the show in the past so I felt really grateful to be added to the list. The interview was a totally unique experience for me since I’m usually the one asking the questions. Some of you may remember that I interviewed Kerry Garrison on THE BIG PICTURE a few months ago.

When Kerry first contacted me I was extremely nervous about being on the show. But once the interview started, all of that nervousness faded away and we had a lot of fun. They asked me all sorts of questions regarding experience with video blogging and THE BIG PICTURE and how it has helped my business. They asked me how I felt about being transparent and so “open” online. And they even asked me some really personal questions too! I was just recently interviewed on the Camera Dojo podcast by Kerry Garrison and David Esquire. One of the things we talked about was how you can post video straight to your blog with the new iPhone 3GS. So I promised I would upload a clip from the actual interview from my phone.

This past weekend I photographed Nicole and Chris’s beautiful wedding at the Reef Playacar Resort in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. I brought Doug of Furious Photographers with me and we had a lot of fun getting to know the bride and groom and their families. I love getting hired to photograph weddings in Cancun, because it is such a naturally beautiful environment. The sun is bright, the sand is white and the water is blue, what more can you ask for!?
