Connie and Erualdo’s wedding was vibrant with color and style. So much thought and effort went into planning every detail from the bridesmaid’s colorful bouquets, the groomsmen’s bow ties, the Mexican ceramic pottery with agave plants that decorated the outdoor reception, the cake made of hand painted tiles and the live mariachi music. Every detail came together seamlessly to create a look and feel that very much represented Connie and Erualdo, their families, and the love that they have for each other.

Trinidad and Tobago Valeema Photography | Shazia and Jeff

Tobago is already filled with breathtaking beauty with colorful buildings, palm trees and lush vegetation leading all the way to the waters edge. So to add the color and vibrance of a Valeema (wedding celebration) to Tobago is like adding sugar to coffee. They go together well.

Shazia and Jeff held their Mehndi in Minnesota and then celebrated with a Valeema in Tobago at the Tobago Plantations. The Trinidad and Tobago portion of their wedding was a Desi Caribbean fusion.

Shazia wore two different dresses. One for the party and the other for the day-after photoshoot. The bead work on both of her dresses was exquisite and her jewelry was so beautiful. The bracelets and head pieces were my favorite.

Shazia and Jeff exude a sense of confidence and style that you don’t see very often and it was so much fun to photograph them because they had such an incredible chemistry in front of the camera. And choosing what photos to use in this blog post was really difficult because there were so many beautiful images to choose from. I wish I could post them all!

Strawberry Farms Wedding Photography | Kim and Joe

Kim and Joe really know how to throw a party!! Their wedding was so much fun to photograph from start to finish. It was a perfect combination of romance and celebration. And they both looked amazing. Kim looked super classy and Joe had the whole 007 James Bond look going rocking the bow tie and everything. You could swear they both modeled before…

Their wedding ceremony was held at St. Timothy’s Church in Laguna Niguel and the celebration was held at Strawberry Farms in Irvine, CA. The party happened inside an old red barn. How cool is that!? (I dig photographing weddings at Strawberry Farms.) And they really went all out with the decor. It had a really romantic feel to it with twinkling lights hanging above all leading to a chandelier in the center acting as an accent for the entire room. And the purple uplighting matching the flowers in the center pieces was a nice touch too.

And on top of all that I had the pleasure of working with one of my favorite wedding coordinators, Kimberly of Kimberly Conners Events who did an amazing job as usual putting it all together.
